Support for custom mapbox base style layers

Great package. Thanks so much.
Rather than being limited to the default mapbox styles, what effort would it take to add support for custom mapbox style layers? In mapbox studio, I've got a custom style string of the format "mapbox://styles/markwynter/ckscht2nu5ldt17......."
Requires the usual API key. Interested to hear your thoughts.
