I noticed that the BVM gui "Viewing mode" option has three new options today, namely Direct Fullscreen, FreeRDP Fullscreen and Remmina Fullscreen. What option should be used to run the VM in Direct Fullscreen from the command line, i.e. bvm boot ~/win11

It is not a command-line parameter. The fullscreen feature is explained in #35 here.

  Read the BVM config file. It explains how. Or use the GUI.

Or, said another way, the config file has a new option for fullscreen. Do you see it? If not, you may need to look at the latest version of the config file and copy the lines mentioning fullscreen to your VM's customized version of the config file.

I checked the config file thoroughly yesterday but couldn't see an option to start full screen. As you said, perhaps I have the previous version. I'll take a look later. Thanks for your prompt response by the way ☺️

Yep, that's all you need to do. The newest config with new options won't be copied to your local VM folder. If it did, it would erase your changes.

Instead, you have to look at the BVM latest config file in the bvm folder, don't edit it there, but find the fullscreen section and copy it to your VM's config file. I hope that makes sense. :)
