method 1 install didn't work

I followed method 1 installation on comfyui desktop applciation but I sitll do not see the manager button or the interface on this repo's images.

Same. Using the ComfyUI native (not portable). Is this new manager just hiding/overriding the legacy manager? Would still be nice to use either as a lot of custom nodes don't appear in the new manager's list.

Seems you just need to re-enable legacy.

I have come to the conclusion that the desktop app install form comfyui's official website is garbage and have since moved to the "ComfyUI Easy Install" which hosts the environment in a browser, has a working manager and can seamlessly install missing nodes. I would suggest everyone else to do the same
