Why distinct is removed from the Rxdart package ?

I am using distinct from rxdart package but with the latest it is not available why ?

also there is nothing which behaves like the distinct ?

final stream = Stream.fromIterable([2, 6, 6, 8, 12, 8, 8, 2]).distinct();
stream.forEach(print); // Outputs events: 2,6,8,12,8,2.

also disticntUnique is there but it doesn't behave like distinct?

Dart Stream's distinct is distinctUntilChanged (RxJava, RxJs, ...)

While RxDart's distinctUnique is distinct (RxJava, RxJs, ...)

@hoc081098 but this rxdart is not providing distinctUntilChanged in rxdart package ? my previous implementation was using distinct from rxdart package now what should i do ?

Previously we were able to call the distinct method on behaviour subject and valuestream but now we are not able to get option to call distinct on it as it is not available what do in this case I am using it extensively in my code but now my code is breaking because of this also the functionality is not given by any other method in the rx dart class ? What to do plz tell

Now not getting option to call the distinct method on it in the latest version what to do?
