Add new column, remove existing column

Describe the problem

1. Currently there is not a column for the total number of strings of a project when viewing:

• Languages
• Components

2. Currently there is a column for "Unfinished characters" which, btw automatically disappears when the window narrows.

Solution brainstorm

1. Add a new column, for intance Total strings to show the total number of strings. This information is much more usefull then "Unfinished characters".

2. Delete the column "Unfinished characters" alltogether. IMO that information is not really relevant for translators. Maybe for some statistic reason.

The “not really relevant” for you is wanted by somebody else; see #3827. There are probably more fields somebody would find useful, but there is not enough space to fit all of them. We used to have the columns selection configurable, but it turned out that nearly nobody was using that, so that feature was removed.

In the end this is related to #16409, we can't add more fields if we don't have space to render them.

For us the removed feature to have the dsiplayed columns configurable would be really helpful now since we adjusted our review process. For our external reviewers the exact number of strings to be reviewed is the most important information. The "Unfinished Strings" information in percent is not precise enough. Also the amount of automatically translated strings would be helpful to have in the table.
Is there a chance to bring the feature back into the software and make it configurable for different target groups? We promise to use it heavily in the future :-)
