[Feature Request] Add Snap Assist to Overview

It would be really nice to have a way to tile windows directly from the overview. I will often go into the overview to move windows to other workspaces and organize everything, so it would really help my workflow to be able to tile them just by dragging them somewhere in the overview. Right now, if I want to move a window to another workspace, I have to go into the overview and move it and then go to the new workspace and tile it.

Thanks for opening this issue. This is an interesting suggestion. What could be a nice implementation? What happens when you snap a window from the overview? You won't see it moving to that tile

That's a good point about how you wouldn't see it moving to the tile. I can't really think of a way to solve that so I'll keep thinking

It's actually a good idea. A way to do it would be to keep the current workflow. When you 'gran' a window, you can activate snap assist. Then when you drop the window in the desired tile, it directly goes in the workspace (the one with the window in it) and tile the window then activate suggestions if necessary. I guess that the preview would be visible from overview.
