FASTLED Not compatable

I get compile errors when I added FASTLED library to my project. It seems there is a conflict with your library and FASTLED. I see there is (was) a library https://github.com/marcmerlin/FastLED_ArduinoGFX_TFT that combines both, BUT it has not been edited for over 5 years. So. I am weary to try it.
Is there any other known work around ?

Didn't know it has it? It will control ws2812 strips with individual LED control? I will check it out
