ColorOracle not working in Windows (jre 1.8_111)

Hi,
I recently updated my jre to version 1.8 update 111 and when I tried to open ColorOracle it displayed the message:
"The registry refers to a nonexistent Java Runtime Environment installation or the runtime is corrupted.
The system cannot find the file specified."
I can confirm the JRE is working properly (other tools that use it work properly). Could it be the version of launch4j being used?

Hi,
I have the same issue, but was able to work-around it by renaming the file extension from exe to jar.

Renaming started me down the right path, but still after renaming the file extension to "jar", double-clicking it in Windows Explorer still didn't work for me. What did was opening up a Command Prompt, and running:

java -jar ColorOracle.jar
