Date objects in RTK Query docs vs. serializability guidelines

The RTK Query docs show transformResponse creating Date objects that get cached in the store:

transformResponse: (response) => ({
  ...response,
  published_at: new Date(response.published_at),
}),
responseSchema: transformedPost, // validates as v.date()

But the Style Guide says to avoid class instances (like Date) in state.

Is this example intentional, or should it include a note about the serializability tradeoffs?

it's just a quick example of the interactions between schemas and transforms - if you can think of one without serializability issues, a PR is welcome.
