Server Overview

• default server doesn't entry on start up

Series Overview

• The Completed Stat also counts rereads
• Reading Time seemingly not accurate (observed regression from 1hr40mins to 9mins, as well as 50min from multiple hours)

Book Overview

• The Chapter name in the Book overview still sometimes displays the path to the current chapterHTML (e.g. text/part0006.html). Sometimes properly displays the real chapter name
• The extended Description is consistently cut off early
• Ackerman & Shirazi gets turned into Ackerman & Shirazi solely in the Series Position Indicator

EPUB Reader

• The Overview menu with the Chapter List won't load at all
• Changing the Font Size, only reloads font size in preview section. The EPUB itself needs to be reentered
• The EPUB will never autocomplete, even after reaching the last page in the book
• Unable to jump to Chapters in the Contents Menu
  • Progress isn't saved after unsuccessful Chapter jump
• After tapping somewhere near the menu bar on top, the reader will be jumped to position chapter one (happened once so not fully sure)
• Sometimes after having the app open in the background for a long time, it changes maybe the font, so the reader position stays on the same page, but the content is shrunk and as such on a different position
• The brightness slider doesn't reflect the system one
• When tapping on an annotation the "delete and edit" pop up spawn in the upper left corner (possibly 0,0)

Downloads

• The Chapter list for downloaded EPUBs is empty
• The downloaded EPUBs will only sync the progress from server to download after having the downloaded opened ones
• Downloading EPUBs from the same server of two entries will overwrite each other, instead of creating two downloaded EPUBs

Performance bugs/Random behavior

• Slow loading times when entering specific paths quickly after start up
• Loop of the back gesture. I.e. the back gesture in Series View load Series View again
• First describe in this discord message

You should be able to long press to launch a little sheet that shows the full content. Is this not working? Or perhaps just not clear and therefore not ideal UX?

This is the extended version. The overview shows a cut off version as planned but when clicking on that one, the section that pops up is still cut by like 5 words or so

Edit: I just noticed an update has been pushed which fixes this behavior

These should be fixed in the latest build now, if you observe otherwise feel free to uncheck the box again

I had to reopen this one, as well as adding a new one, since now this whole Menu won't load at all.

Also is the brightness slider supposed to reflect the system brightness?

Yes, that was changed in the latest update

Can you email me a book which doesn't work? I don't seem to have any which fail to load the TOC

For me it is all the epubs, so also the same ones that I once sent you on discord.

On ios, if you open the reader's settings sheet, then open the system's control centre and adjust the brightness there, once you close the control centre the brightness slider in the app will automatically update to reflect what the new system brightness is. Is this what you mean isn't happening on the android side?

Yes exactly. If the brightness is adjusted through the notification area (i.e. the system native brightness slider) it is never reflected on the in app one.

Edit: I'll have time to adjust the issue to reflect the current state of the mobile app some time this evening. (i.e. also adding this one)

Just dropping a note I updated some of the items as completed with the new build, but if you still experience issues with those ofc please uncheck them
