The main change here is changing "updatePicture" to public, this allows the function to be overridden, allowing developers to extend your activity natively in their apps.
For me, I needed to returned an extra passed in with the Intent, this could only be done by overriding "updatePicture".
Just included the files Android Studio created, and updated the GitIgnore to exclude files that should be.
