Rationale

• To improve the visibility of the Society and to provide more opportunities to the Society's members, it is an important initiative to have a formalised pipeline for managing relationships with sponsors.
• Having a dedicated role to managing sponsorships and related agreements allows the Society to more systematically expand its influence to benefit the members, including aspects such as visibility to the industry and larger prize pools for sponsored events.
